Our Story

It all started the way the best things do — a father and son, a pack of cards, and the thrill of not knowing what was inside.

What began as a shared hobby quickly became a passion. We'd spend our weekends looking at old collections and occasionally opening up some new packs.

As the collection grew, so did the idea. First we had to come up with a name. We get asked this question a lot - "What does 2413 stand for?" - Well it's actually quite simple. The 24 is the day of the month my son was born, and the 13 is the day I was born. After going over a few dozen logo variations, we finally settled on the one you see today!

We opened an eBay store to share what we loved with others — and the response blew us away. We got active on social media, connected with a community of collectors just like us, and realized this was more than a hobby. It was a business.

Today, 2413 Cards & Collectibles is a fully operational e-commerce store offering sports card singles, sealed product, supplies, collectibles, and custom branded sports accessories. What started at a kitchen table has grown into something we're genuinely proud of.

We're still that father and son at heart — just with a lot more inventory.
